Caribbean Carnival BSP returns on Saturday, February 22, 2025! Join us for a free family-friendly evening of fun and island vibes. In addition to vibrant cultural showcases, a Black & Caribbean-owned pop-up market, an expanded food vendor lineup, and kids’ activities, this year’s event will be headlined by Jamaican Reggae band, Inner Circle!

Inner Circle
We are beyond excited to announce our headliner for Caribbean Carnival BSP: Inner Circle! The Jamaican-bred, Grammy-winning quintet is one of the world’s most respected reggae groups with a long string of successes stretching back to the mid-70′s. Inner Circle’s special brand of pop-oriented Jamaican beats and energy-filled live performances have allowed the band to transcend the traditional reggae niche and enjoy widespread crossover appeal.

The Junkanoo Parade
Experience the vibrant expression of Bahamian Culture with the Junkanoo Parade! The high-energy performance, with elaborate costumes and a powerful sound produced by traditional instruments, will parade through the Caribbean Carnival crowd and is sure to get the whole family dancing!

Caribbean Crew Trio
Get ready to embrace the tropical sounds of The Caribbean Crew, a Steel Drum Band, who will perform a variety of steel drum music, reggae, calypso, soca and dancehall at Caribbean Carnival BSP!

Tati Nuzi
Caribbean Carnival BSP is honored to feature Inez Barlatier, a multifaceted performer of Ayisyen (Haitian) descent. As Tati Nuzi, she celebrates the art and culture of her homeland Ayiti (Haiti) through energetic drumming and singing, colorful costumes and traditional dances, folktales and visual art. Inez’s ancestral and resonant voice and enthusiastic band bring forth deeply rooted musical traditions with a youthful vibrancy that is ecstatic and infectious. Tati Nuzi will lead families on a journey to a land rich with history, while inviting participation in folkloric dances and drumming along with cultural learning that emphasizes community and gratitude.

DJ Lady Shay
Caribbean Carnival BSP will feature DJ Lady Shay! The Tampa-based DJ and MC brings a vibrant energy and a music selection skill that’s deeply rooted in her Jamaican heritage. DJ Lady Shay understands the true art of mixing and is incredible to watch and hear. Her music repertoire spans from electronic to current pop, hip hop, old school, dancehall, calypso and soca music. She also brings a vibrant energy to the microphone as a professional MC!

When and where is the Caribbean Carnival event taking place at Bonnet Springs Park?
Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 5 – 9PM
Caribbean Carnival will be located at the Allen & Company Family Lawn.
BSP’s Ride with Regal trams will be available for complimentary rides from the on-site parking lots to the event entrance. See the Parking section for more information on rides to BSP by Citrus Connection!
Is there an admission fee to enter the Park or attend the event?
No. This event is free and open to the public!
Who is this event for?
All ages are welcome to enjoy Caribbean Carnival.
Where do I park?
Parking on-site at BSP is first come, first served. Overflow parking will also be available outside the Park. You will be directed to available parking by park staff. All BSP and Citrus Connection parking lots are free to park.
How to get here via shuttle, rideshare, etc.?
Citrus Connection will provide special transit shuttle service to and from Caribbean Carnival from two “Park and Ride” locations. Click here for the route map and schedule.
We suggest that you plan ahead to determine the best route for you and your family. We encourage you to carpool, utilize rideshare services, and take advantage of the Citrus Connection shuttle service.
What forms of payment are accepted at the Park?
BSP accepts all major credit cards and contactless payments (tap to pay). There are two reverse ATMs or “cash to card” machines also available for guests, at the Hollis Family Welcome Center and The Depot Cafe, located near the Florida Children’s Museum.
